The Club

A new member Club for Airlie Beach, created around the water, the people of the Whitsundays and the future of the region.

WHY ABYC

A genuine yacht club with a broader role.

Airlie Beach Yacht Club is being established to create a permanent home for membership, maritime participation, hospitality, recreation and important occasions in Airlie Beach.

The Club is intended to bring together local residents, sailors, anglers, boat owners, families, business leaders and visitors through a shared connection with the Whitsundays. Boat ownership will not be required.

Hospitality will support the life of the Club, but hospitality is not the Club's reason for existing. Membership, participation, competition, service and community are the foundation.
