ABYC is preparing a future Supermaxi competition-yacht programme around the operating model of an elite international race team: integrated engineering, specialist suppliers, continuous development and partners who contribute more than a logo.

The operating model

One programme.
Two controlled pathways.

The supplier EOI and the sponsorship programme are deliberately separate. Designers, engineers, yards and technical suppliers enter the ABYC Supplier Partnership process. Commercial partners enter the partnership process. Neither pathway guarantees selection, appointment, exclusivity or contract award.

The page adopts the pace and clarity of a modern international race-team presentation while retaining ABYC’s own identity, colours and governance.

01 · Procurement

Supermaxi Design, Build & Commissioning EOI

The public register now accepts pre-market capability EOIs for one integrated programme covering naval architecture, engineering, composite build, systems integration, commissioning, trials and initial race support.

The final technical brief, principal dimensions, class or rating pathway, milestones, closing date and approved release documents have not yet been published. Payment and secure package access remain disabled until that controlled release.

02 · Partnerships

ABYC Supermaxi Competition Team

A separately negotiated commercial platform for naming, principal, technical, performance and official-supplier partners aligned with the future yacht and its competition campaign.

No price, exclusivity, livery position, event programme or partnership term is granted by an EOI. Rights are defined only in an approved written agreement.

Technical & Performance Partners

Specialists whose products, engineering or services contribute directly to programme capability.

Approved suppliers providing defined equipment, services or campaign support under contract.

Beyond logo placement.

Preliminary activation areas demonstrate the programme model only. Final visibility is controlled by technical design, safety, class and event rules, and written partner agreements.

Controlled hull, sail and equipment visibility where technically and legally permitted.

The ABYC Supermaxi Competition Team is a proposed programme in development. No yacht design, shipyard appointment, competition entry, race calendar, technical specification, commercial right or delivery date is approved by this page. The Formula One race-team model is used only as a commercial and operating benchmark; ABYC is not affiliated with McLaren Racing or any Formula One team.
