OUR PLACE
Airlie Beach & the Whitsundays
Airlie Beach connects the mainland with the islands, sailing waters and visitor economy of the Whitsundays. Residents, yacht crews, charter operators, anglers, tourism businesses and visitors all use the town as a base for movement between coast and water.
ABYC is proposed for 1–7 The Cove Road, beside the marina precinct and close to central Airlie Beach.
The Club's role is to support participation and community: bringing people together, hosting sailing and fishing programmes, recognising achievement, providing hospitality and developing relationships with established marine and community organisations.
ABYC will provide facilities and hospitality supporting marina users. It will not own or operate the adjoining marina, provide marina berths, or operate a club lounge on behalf of the marina business.
