Four distinct commercial opportunity pathways
Explore ABYC supplier opportunities, official sponsorships, Founding Partner positions, and separately contracted competition and event partnerships.
Positions are limited by number, category and term. Every appointment remains subject to application, due diligence, commercial assessment and formal ABYC approval.
Invitation and application areas
Each pathway has its own documentation, assessment and agreement. A supplier appointment does not include sponsorship rights, and a partnership does not grant procurement rights unless separately contracted.

Founding Partner status is permanent recognition of the companies and individuals selected to form part of the establishment and legacy of Airlie Beach Yacht Club. Only 24 positions will be issued; when they are awarded, no additional positions will be created.
Founding Partner status is distinct from Platinum, Gold and Silver commercial category rights. It does not automatically provide category exclusivity, procurement or operational supply rights, venue naming rights, ownership, governance or board rights.
Appointment by selection only
Every corporate or individual applicant is subject to review, due diligence and formal approval by the ABYC Founding Partner Selection Committee. ABYC may decline an application where the applicant's reputation, standing, activities, proposed association or strategic alignment is inconsistent with the Club's long-term interests, reputation or positioning.
Corporate Founding Partner
Open to selected Australian and international companies, organisations, investment groups, private enterprises and institutions of appropriate standing.
Individual Founding Partner
Open to selected individuals with recognised achievement, leadership, standing or contribution across relevant fields. Both applicant types consume one of the same 24 positions.
