Building the founding community

Airlie Beach Yacht Club is being established as a genuine member organisation rather than a hospitality venue with a membership label. The proposed model is intended to connect people through dining, recreation, sailing, fishing, Club occasions, community relationships and the shared traditions of a yacht club. Founding, Lifetime, Individual, Family and Corporate Membership form the present working structure. Boat ownership will not be required. Final eligibility, allocations, fees, voting rights, guest access and benefits will be determined through the Club’s approved constitution, bylaws and membership terms. The current website accepts expressions of interest and pre-applications so the membership team can understand demand and begin appropriate conversations. A submission is not an invitation, approval, offer or request for payment. ABYC will publish the final membership framework only when the governance and commercial terms are approved.
