Building toward Airlie Beach's next chapter
The proposed Yacht Club combines new architecture, recreation, structured parking and Club infrastructure as the region looks toward 2032 and beyond.

Airlie Beach Yacht Club is proposed for 1–7 The Cove Road, beside the marina precinct and within walking distance of central Airlie Beach.
The current design brings together member facilities, a 70-seat Argentinian open-fire restaurant, bars and terraces, a 60-seat members’ lounge, approximately 800 m² of pool and cabana facilities, a Club cellar and bottle shop, event spaces and the operational areas required to support them.
Broad roof forms, deep shade and sheltered terraces respond to the tropical climate. The arrangement allows members and guests to move between dining, lounge, pool and event settings while maintaining views across the marina and towards the Whitsundays.
The Club does not own or operate the adjoining marina and will not provide berths, refuelling, repairs, storage or other marina services. Its role is to support membership, hospitality, sailing, fishing and participation in the wider boating life of the region.
Areas, capacities and facilities remain subject to statutory approvals, detailed design, licensing and final operating conditions.
