International design team shaping the proposed Airlie Beach Yacht Club

The proposed Airlie Beach Yacht Club is being designed by Peddle Thorp Architecture & Design Pty Ltd. Peter Dworjanyn, Principal Architect Director, provides Architectural Direction. Alejandro Romano, Principal Design, Planning & Marketing Director, provides Design and Planning Direction. Michael Rahill, Principal Architect Director, leads the Project Architecture. Kevin Cronin, Principal Landscape Architect Director, directs the Landscape Architecture. Internationally recognised Las Vegas-based designer Hernan Arriaga leads the Interior Design. The design is organised around tropical shade, sheltered arrival, framed views and a clear progression between member, dining, recreation and event spaces. Architecture, landscape and interiors are being developed together so the Club reads as one complete waterfront experience rather than a collection of unrelated venues. Current images are artist impressions. The final outcome remains subject to statutory approvals, detailed design and procurement.
